This guide will ensure that you can properly configure your Metamask Wallet (browser extension) to seemlessly use Emblem Vaults and $COVAL on all compatible networks. This is more easily done on a desktop/PC, but the process is the same for Metamask Mobile. See the “Network Cheat Sheet” near the bottom of this guide.

First: Open Browser and sign-in to your Metamask Wallet

Second: Click the dropdown box at the top center of the extension window. Here you will see all of the networks for which your wallet is configured.

If you do not have your wallet configured for one of the COVAL and Emblem Vault compatible networks (BSC, FTM, xDAI, MATIC), then you have the option to add a “Custom RPC” network. This option is at the bottom of the dropdown list. We will click the “Custom RPC” option, and we will enter the information for the Binance Smart Chain in the following example.

Third: Click “Custom RPC”. Then enter the data to configure your Metamask Wallet for the Binance Smart Chain. You will need to enter a “Network Name”, “New RPC URL”, “ChainID”, “Symbol”, and “Blockchain Explorer URL”. In this example we configure the wallet for BSC. Click “Save” when the form is filled correctly.

After saving, your wallet will be configured for the network. The next thing you will want to do is add “COVAL” to this network (if it did not already populate). To do this, follow the fourth and final step below.

Fourth: When your wallet is set to the desired network, BSC in this example, click “Add Token” at the bottom of the broswer extension. Then click on the “Custom Token” tab to enter the information for COVAL to populate inside your wallet. For the Binance Smart Chain, we will enter
0xd15cee1deafbad6c0b3fd7489677cc102b141464 in the “Token Contract Address” field, and the rest of the information will populate automatically. Click “Next”, then Click “Add Token”.

Now you are done configuring your Metamask Wallet browser extension for COVAL on the Binance Smart Chain! Congratulations! If you need to configure your wallets for any of the other COVAL and Emblem Vault Compatible networks, then please follow the same process as above. However, see the data needed for the other networks in the table below — for Fantom Opera, Polygon/Matic Mainnet, xDAI, and Binance Smart Chain.
